Research
Research guided by the PUP University Research Agenda — moving beyond a finished paper to dissemination, utilization and continuous improvement.

Overview
About this area
The Master in Business Administration (MBA) program considers research an essential part of graduate business education. Its research activities are guided by the PUP University Research Agenda and applicable University research policies and guidelines, providing a framework for studies that respond to relevant business, management, organization and societal concerns. The program encourages faculty and graduate students to pursue research in areas such as strategic management, entrepreneurship, human resources, marketing, finance, operations, innovation, digital transformation, sustainability, and enterprise development, consistent with the University's broader research directions.
Faculty and students are encouraged to strengthen their research capabilities, collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders, and disseminate findings through appropriate scholarly channels. More importantly, the MBA Program seeks to move research beyond completion of a paper. Where appropriate, findings are shared and applied in teaching, management practice, organizational decision-making, community engagement, and further research. Through this continuing cycle of inquiry, evidence, dissemination, utilization, and improvement, the program contributes to PUP's research mission while developing reflective and evidence-informed business professionals.
